Are you looking for a genuine psychic medium? Have you spent a bit of time watching some of the more famous mediums on TV or on the radio....and are ready to get out there and get your OWN reading? If you are anything like I was when I began my interest in psychic phenomena and specifically medium style readings, you are probably super enthusiastic about learning more.....but a bit skeptical about what is FACT...and what is fiction.
Here is what I've learned along the way......
Psychic mediumship is one of the most special, and amazing gifts of all the "paranormal" powers. But it's also amongst the rarest....and most often faked, or fudged as well. The truth? Many so called mediums really, honestly and genuinely BELIEVE they have this gift....whereas in reality, only a small, select group of super special psychics truly does.
For example.....
One of the greatest minds of the past 200 or so some odd years, William James (an English scientist and philosopher widely credited today for his contributions to modern science and psychology) discovered a medium named Leonora Piper, in late 19th century England, who he claimed was his WHITE CROW...which he used to describe that one rare breed of person (or bird, in this case..:-) that proved the EXCEPTION to the rule. (in his example, many of the other mediums he studied were NOT that impressive)
Today......
There are many working psychic mediums, who have displayed similar style abilities. As a matter of fact, there are numerous ongoing studies, as I write this heading into 2010, that aim to uncover the mystery of speaking to the dead! The Windbridge Institute, the ForeverFamily Foundation, work at the University of Virginia and more is ongoing to prove that life really DOES continue after the point of death...and that many mediums amongst us can truly contact the deceased in our behalf.
After almost 20 years of psychic research myself, here is what I know......
Psychic mediums are real. Rare....but real.
