Have Fun With Math Magician Games

Magic has always been a part of a child's life and math magician games will surely do the trick if you want your child to have fun with math. Math magician games will amaze your kids and will surely grab their attention without them knowing that they are already applying and practicing their math concepts.
Here is one math trick which is 100% guaranteed will truly astonish kids and adults alike without using any props like pencils or paper.
Ask your audience to pick a number between 1 and 20 and keep it to themselves.
Ask them to double the number that they have chosen again in their mind only.
Ask them to add 10 to the result of No. 2.
Ask them to divide the result of No. 3 by 2.
Ask them to subtract the original number the selected from the result of No. 4.
Then you can announce that the final result for all of them should be 5.
Look at how awed they will all be and they will surely have a hard time figuring out how you got it at all. You can also do some math card tricks which can also amaze your kids and impress them with a very simple math magic.
Shuffle a deck of cards several times. You can also allow your kids to cut and shuffle the cards as many times as they want.
Spread out the cards so that everybody will see that it is an ordinary and standard deck.
After several shuffling and cutting you are now ready to lay down 27 cards face up arranged into 3 columns of 9 cards each. Start by laying out the first 3 cards separately then the next 3 cards on the second row until you reach the 9th row. The remaining cards are not needed from hereon.
Ask your child to pick a card from the 27 cards laid out on the table but he/she should only tell you which column his/her chosen card is without telling you which is the chosen card.
After you have been informed of the column where the chosen card is gather the cards by column from top to bottom making sure that you gather the column where the chosen card is as the 2nd batch. This makes the first card of column where the chosen card is as the 10th card in the 27-card deck you are using.
Without re-shuffling the cards, lay out the 27 cards the same way as before in 3 columns of 9 rows each then again ask the child in which column his/her chosen card earlier is now located. Again gather the cards the same way as in #5 above.
Do #6 and #5 a third time and when you finally lay down the cards the 4th time, silently count up to the 14th card and ask the child if that is the card he/she has chosen.
Simple math but for kids it is magic!
